Use an Invisible Dog Fence to Protect Your Pet
Thousands of dogs disappear each year because they run away from their homes. An underground dog fence can reduce the odds of losing your beloved pet, without building a fence that is an eyesore. Invisible fences are, conveniently, unseen to keep your yard looking flawless. This is a perfect way to keep your dog safe.
Practical
Some dogs are just natural born wanderers. Given the smallest chance, and they are off and running. For such animals, a chainlink fence doesn’t cut it. They will dig under, jump over or worry at a fence until they are free. The only practical result is an electric fence. The fence provides instantaneous stimulus that will boost your pet to remain within their preset limits.
Maybe one of the greatest atributes about electric fences is that they can be used in combination with an already placed traditional fence. You easily place the boundary wire about a foot further into the yard in comparison to the present fence, and your pet will stop digging around the bottom trying to escape. Your dog should not be in danger for going on his natural born instincts.
Studies show that dogs that wonder out of the yards, usually do not come back Even with micro chipping and other current techniques, dogs are more likely to getting hurt. The whole family would be affected by the loss of your cherished friend. You can block your dog from leaving his home. For owners of escape artists, the worry can be constant.
Easy
Using an invisible dog fence is something most people can do all on there own. You will need a shovel, a drill that can make it through [concrete|your driveway or wall], a couple of screwdrivers and a kit. The system should come with the boundary wire, a transmitting unit, and flags for training, a receiver and the collar. You can get additional batteries and extra receivers if you have more than one dog.
After you have marked the boundary, use your spade to dig a small trench and insert the wire. Drill through the basement wall if needed to place the wires into the transmitter and put them into the power unit. Plug the unit into the wall. Charge the receivers and test the collars to make sure they function correctly. Finish by following the training directions included.
Using Supplies
I think one of my favorite benefits with an invisible dog fences is that you can incorporate it with a dog door and provide your animal with additional freedom. If you have to be out of the house a lot and you want to dodge unfortunate accidents, this can be the perfect solution. If your pet makes it out the door when you open it, no worries, he can’t go too far without a reminder.
An invisible pet fence can be a real advantage. Installed and used properly, it is a great way to keep your animal protected and at home.
